Siddharth Gautam has worked as a writer/ creative producer/ director across formats ranging from TVCs, feature films, documentaries and web series. He is an experienced screenwriter having written multiple feature films as well as short films. The love for story telling led him to mentor numerous screenwriting students who want to learn the art of dramatic storytelling. Siddharth has been a part of writer’s room and worked as a Film executive of the hit Netflix show titled “Class”, the second season of which is under production. He has collaborated with multiple directors on feature films as a writer as well as Associate director. What makes his experience in screenwriting unique is his sense of visual storytelling that comes from his understanding of cinema as an art form. The students get to learn screenwriting as a visual tool, and how to express emotions on paper that makes an impact on screen. With students going through rigorous assignments and constructive feedback, they become more aware of film as a visual medium, so when they take their screenplay on set, they have a clear idea how it will translate on screen. Here, Siddharth’s experience as a filmmaker comes in handy which students benefit from as well. Siddharth’s exposure to world cinema makes it easier for his students to understand universality of films, and recognize the fact that films that connect have a universal language, and if we are able to crack that, we can make films that connects with the global audiences as well

Cinematography Faculty Shaizad Ali is an experienced cinematography educator with over six years of teaching expertise, complemented by a decade-long career as an independent cinematographer. With a deep-seated passion for the art of visual storytelling, Shaizad has worked across an impressive range of formats, including films, television commercials (TVCs), short films, web and digital series, fashion, corporate AV’s, documentaries, and television shows. His work has been featured on prominent platforms like Hotstar, YouTube, Amazon, zee5, Network 18, and History TV18, showcasing his versatility and skill. Shaizad’s work portfolio includes collaborations with well-known brands and projects that have gained recognition on both national and international stages. He has covered prestigious award shows ranges worldwide and is particularly recognized for his expertise in ad film cinematography. His adaptability to different formats and conditions has made him a sought-after cinematographer in the industry, known for his ability to bring a creative vision to any setting. In the classroom, Shaizad’s hands-on industry experience enriches his teaching. He imparts not only the technical aspects of cinematography but also emphasizes the importance of practice, knowledge, and a clear creative vision. Believing that these elements are essential to becoming a skilled cinematographer, he is dedicated to sharing his expertise with his students, inspiring them to explore and excel in the field of visual storytelling.

Chinmay Wagh is a Film and television Institute of India graduate specialized in Editing. With 7 years’ experience in Feature Films, Web series and Nonfiction, His Recently Edited Documentary has been screened at DIFF, IDSFFK, CIFF and NYIFF. His Documentary Gotho has been screened in Dharmshala film festival, international documentary and short film festival of Kerala and many more. His more recent short film love note has been also screened in various festivals in India. Apart from this he has been associate editor in 3 feature films and one web series, also he has worked with national award-winning director Paresh Mokashi in his recent film as an assistant director. In 2020 he was selected from across India in 75 creative minds of tomorrow in international film festival of India.

Jayesh Joshi is post graduate in tv Direction from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and holds a bachelors of Engineering from Pune University. Having worked as Writer, Director and Actor in Theatre for more than a decade, now he is working as an active filmmaker and a filmmaking coach. Apart from his commercial and digital work, He has also directed multiple documentaries and short films which are appreciated in several film festivals.
